Hi doc, I have recently come to india, my baby is doing brownish poop and has become crankier.. I tried gripe water but no help.. after all efforts, I gave him Tylenol, he got relaxed and slept.. he is predominantly formula fed. .. how should I help him? Is he teething? What are the signs of teething?

A. Exessive cry is very common under 6 months of age bcz of gas in stomach  Exclusive breast feed ur baby till 6months of age.  Feed ur baby with proper position.   Burp properly after each and every feed for at least 10 min or till baby take 4 burp.   Give Tummy time 4-5 times in a day time  If still issue persist then   Give colic aid drops 0.5 ml (if needed). Maximum 4times per day.   Teeth can errupt at any time from birth  But most of the baby have their 1st teeth between 5-15 months of age  Teeth eruptions is a natural process  No need to do anything for that  Don't give any medication for that unless fever and exessive crying.  Just do gum massage with ur little finger thrice a day   Give teether if possible, Clean teether every time before use.  It will help
