Q.

Hi baby is having fever of 99.4 he is beyond crying from night he didn’t sleep from night doctor gave whyral 22 drops

A. very common that small children will have pain in the body due to fever but paracetamol will help in decreasing the pain also For FEVER as well as PAIN kindly give paracetamol according to the weight of child as well as according to the power of paracetamol medicine you are having and paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day and also do body sponge to decrease the surface temperature. Also when u take temperature in the armpit of the child and it is 100 or more then only consider it as fever and give Paracetamol. higher medicines for fever like ibugesic and mefenamic has to be given only after medical consultation

A. Hi parent I suggest you please consult with your pediatrician about this matter because physical examination of child is important for proper diagnosis and treatment please measure temperature with Babyhug digital thermometer
