Hello sir My daughter is 5 yrs old she is having cough from last 1 week initially we had given homeopathy medicine but ita not controlled later started Ascoril Ls syp from last two days..but cough is not reduced mucus is inside...kindly suggest

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Cough and Cold along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritabilhkity could be a feature of viral infection or seasonal flu where most of the time supportive treatment is given.
along with that cough expectorant and decongestant with antiallergic medicine given.
steam inhalation can be given frequently to relieve the symptoms.
