Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. This can occur due to some infection or some times due to climate changes and temperature variations around child.
For cold / running nose give syp Maxtra 5 ml to the child 2- 3 times per day. (Helps in decreasing running nose and cold)
For productive coughing give syp ascoril ls 5ml twice daily
Prevent temperature variations around the child and give nasal saline drops every three hourly for nasal congestion and block.
Indirect steam help in decreasing coughing
For fever and pain give paracetamol
Give warm watder to drink
Go for home remedies like Tulsi Ginger honey diluted with water combination and turmeric with milk at least 2 times per day.

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl3 years agoA. give steam at home. Running nose and cough cold are common during this time . Just steam as a home remedy for mild cough and cold . Ascoril LS for other cough . Also paracetamol for fever if any .
