Hello sir/madam My baby is 14 months old, presently we are giving iron drops....normally feeding complete by night 12 and thereafter no feeding till morning 6 to 7 so can iron drops be given in the early morning empty stomach. Does usage of iron drops cause constipation . kindly suggest... Thanking you sir/ madam Awaiting your reply

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children3 years agoA. no problem you can give iron drops the baby anytime some baby is can have constipation also and it is advisable to consult your local doctor for proper examination and if it is need for appropriate investigations in this regard and far proper management of the problem
