Hello, My son is 2 years 9 months old. His heartbeat rate is around 180 per month. is it fine for a child of this age or I need to take doctor consultation. Please suggest as it seems that his heartbeat rate is too fast.

A. hello parent it's quite common to see increased heart rate in toddlers and infants if you have doubt monitor it when the baby is come if there are no other symptoms no need to worry about it

A. Infants 1 to 11 months old: 80 to 160 beats per minute. Children 1 to 2 years old: 80 to 130 beats per minute. Children 3 to 4 years old: 80 to 120 beats per minute. Children 5 to 6 years old: 75 to 115 beats per minute.
