Q.

hello, my son had fever 4 days ago, from yesterday he had little cold and cough. today I consultant doctor he prescribed some medicine but now suddenly he had bleed from nose( little ).. shall I consult doctor immediately or id it normal.

A. it's fine. bleeding from the nasal cavity also known as epistaxis. during the initial bleeding episode you will have to press up on the bleeding area to stop the bleeding. you can press some cold ice or cold cloth also to decrease the bleedingx after bleeding stops you have to make use of nasal saline drops to keep the nasal cavity moist and also apply antibacterial cream (tbact) over the bleeding area for faster healing.
