Q.

Hello, My kid is suffering from Herpangina with ulcers all over the mouth. He's in pain and hungry but unable to eat.. What can be done to overcome this situation at the earliest.?

A. You are passing through a very painful situation. Keep your self calm and be patient. It will take a week or 2. My son had this 2weeks before. To soothe the ulcers my doctor gave me Sucral kid suspension syrup, Ibugesic for pain and fever, Bifilac logens to chew and Clenora gel to apply in mouth ulcer and he was fine after 5-7 days.

A. I visited the doctor today but he just gave paracetamol for relieving the pain. What about the ulcer? He didn't give any gel/medicine for the same. What to do?
