hello my daughter platelets count is 109000 she was having viral infection and low WBC after blood test WBC is normal now but platelets is low Dr advised to extend admit but I am not sure because she is already in panic state because of injection and saline given to her till now? is it nesscary to admit her please suggest me what should I do

platelet count is not very much low but yes you need to have some medications for that if you are not willing for injections and saline and have regular follow upwith  your doctor 
so you can ask your doctor to shift on to oral medications instead of saline and injections

If it was not necessary to go ahead with the putting your child into hospital or admitting the child into the hospital the doctor would have never advised you to go ahead with that which is why I think you should just go ahead as per your doctor suggestion because in the platelets are count for less for a child it could be quite a problem but I don’t want try to do anything from your own so I just go ahead with following the instructions given by the doctor as that’s the right thing to be done as of now
