Q.
Hello...my daughter got fever in morning..gave her ibugesic ( consulted doctor) fever came down within half an hour till evening she was not having fever... after waking up she got fever her temperature was 102f gave her ibugesic...its almost 4 hours after giving syrup her fever is 99.5....what should I do...

Hello..my daughter's fever started from yesterday...fever is coming back within 4 hrs... giving her ibugesic...she is lil cranky but more playful and doesn't wants to sleep... cheeks, hands,legs are normal.. forehead,neck n body is hot...more forehead is hot .. what can be the reason.. already consulted doctor and started antibiotics...plz help

Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dosxe as the first line treaggtment also this dose can be again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if again required
and you can also do cold sponging of the body to reduce fever
