Hello, my child have a small cut between her fingers please which ointment can I put on it

A. Wash the finger with soap and water for 5 minutes. For any cuts, use an antibiotic ointment (such as Polysporin). No prescription is needed.Calm your child and let him know you can help.Apply pressure with a clean cloth or bandage for several minutes to stop bleeding.Wash your hands thoroughly.Wash the cut area well with soap and water, but don't scrub the wound. ...Apply an antiseptic lotion or cream.If the wound is superficial, a dab of triple-antibiotic ointment, such as Neosporin, may help speed healing, says Greg Stockton, health and safety expert for the American Red Cross. Look for signs of infection over the next few days.
