Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. meningococcal vaccine is an optional vaccine. it is usually given either at 9 months of age andx one year of age as a a 2 dosage regimen or you can go for a single dosage after two years of age.
your doctor is the best person to tell you whether it is required by your child or not.
my personal advicex would be that if you can afford the vaccine you should get the child vaccinated for any disease for which vaccine is available
RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl1 Year agoA. You should go ahead with what your doctor suggest because since they would have a better idea about all the vaccinations and their advice is going to be the correct one so it’s better to go ahead with what your doctor advises you
