Hello my baby is 5 n half month old she is having constipation from last few days it never happen before since her birth She is hitting every thing with her gums even she bite me after breast feeding. Is this constipation is due to teething if yes what could be it's solution.

A. so how many time I can give simple RO water

A. gripe water is a type of medicine and if given to the child it will cause side effects and it contains large amount of sugar which will again cause metabolic problems to the child

A. constipation is not due to the teething process but many times it can occur due to less water in the body and sometimes due to the changes in the body which can lead to constipation. if the consistency of the stool is not hard and dry then it is not constipation but if it is hard and dry stool then only consider it as constipation and go for medicine
