hello my baby is 5.5 month and he was having severe cough and cold.my doctor prescribed him phenergan 2.5 ml twice daily for 3 days is it normal??

A. it is important to follow the instructions and medicines course given by your doctor for the problem . they are safe if given by registered medical practitioner. do not undertake medicines or medical procedures not prescribed / guided by the doctor. take a follow up in few days if it is not improving for need of treatment modification you can follow the doctor and if it is not improving in 3 days then meet your doctor again

Q. My baby is 1 year 11 months old. Doctor suggested mucolite 5 ml three times daily for her cold problem. when I read the dosage in the mucolite bottle, it is mentioned only for kids above 2 years.
