Q.

hello. my baby is 22 days old. she is suffering from nasal congestion. I'm already using nasoclear drops. can I use nasal aspirator to remove congestion?

A. yes can use This can occurs due to weather changes and temperature variations or simple cold and rarely infection. kindly give nasal saline drops (nasoclear /nasivion s)every three hourly and since it is a salt water/saline water it does not have any side effects and can be given again and again for nasal blockage and respiratory cough. It will dissolve mucus in nose and throat. For fever andc pain give paracetamol Try to prevent temperature variations around the child and you can also give indirect steam inhalation and if there is no improvement in 2 or 3 days then meet your doctor

A. hi I would suggest to put a bowel of chopped onion and garlic pods near your child bed , approx 1.4 feet far overnight ,the smell is not so pleasant but it surely heal. keep your child head slightly elevated while sleeping. give Sunbath for 20 minutes a day
