Q.

Hello my baby is 10months old and his doctor has prescribed calcium to him, been using Gemcal for him. I want to know how much calcium is required for 10mo babies and is there any other syrup I can give him instead of gemcal. He even pukes whatever he’s eaten after I give him the syrup. Please help.

A. calcium is given according to the need of the child otherwise if the growth of the child is proper and the child is consuming milk and other cereals and pulses there is no need to give calcium supplements
