Q.
hello, my baby boy is 3.5years old.. he has fever from last night. temperature is 99-100 F. I have given 5ml of paracetamol in the morning.. now again he has fever.. how many times paracetamol can be given?plz suggest

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. you can repeat it in every 6 hours, keep temperature checking 6 hourly..
Fevers higher than 104° F. should be attended to immediately.
Dress your child lightly. Use a sheet instead of a blanket to cover her in bed.
Breastfeed or give your baby formula often to maintain hydration of body.
Give soft easy to digest diet.
maintain proper hygein.
If persistent for more than 48 hours,OR accompanied by other symptoms like vomiting or loose motions or coughing and breathlessness or dullness and refusal to feed ,consult your paediatrician
