Hello, my 4 month old baby has severe cold and nasal congestion. it is not running nose. he started coughing also from yesterday. what medicine should I give him and how much

DR SHIWAJIRAO PATILGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Hello, your baby boy is 4 months old and he is having a cold and nasal congestion so give him steam inhalation and syrup wikoryl 1 ml three times a day

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Cold is a viral illness and symptoms could be sneezing, running nose, cough sore throat, nasal congestion and fever. Treatment consists of antihistamines antipyretics analgesics and decongestants . steam inhfalationgg would be beneficial . Medicines like sinarest/wikoryl / Alex cold can be given in a proper dose according to the weight for 3-5 days as per the symptoms .
