POOJA GOSWAMIMom of a 10 yr 6 m old girl3 years agoA. Yes, it is recommended to introduce semi solid or pureed foods in baby's diet between the age of 5-6 months. If feeding for the first time, start slow with 4-6 spoons per serving and twice a day. You can feed lentil puree, apple, pear and carrot puree, mashed banana, ragi and sooji porridge, cerelac, etc.
