hello mam, my baby is 10 months old now...some light color white patches or spots on cheeks has appeared...what are these and do I need to consult a doctor...

it is caused by many reasons like dry skin, nutritional deficiency or infection
so please keep your child well hydrated
dress your child in weather appropriate clothes
give Massage to your child daily
but always rinse the oil well while bathing your child
don't use soap while bathing your child
don't give bath for more than 10 minutes
provide apt sun light at least 20 minutes a day
if it is increasing , please visit your pediatrician for once.
