Q.

Hello mam..My baby 8 months old, she is passing watery stools from past 5 days, consulted our pediatrician but it remind same ,,, can you give any advice

A. Already started antibiotics but no change when it wil be controlled sir!

A. Loose motion are most of the time infective where it is associated with fever and vomiting and its known as gastroenteritis where symptomathic treatment along with management for dehydration is required if loose motions are associated wjith foul smell mucous high grade fever than it could be bacterial infection which needs antibiotics treatment

A. Hi mommy It’s common in children try some home remedies like maintain hydration give ors or sugar salt water Boiled potatoes Mustard water Ginger juice Herbal tea Lemon juice Coconut water etc Feed toddlers mild foods in their regular diet. Avoid spicy or fried foods. · Once the diarrhea stops gradually return to a normal diet
