hello dr..my daughter is somewhat coughing today..so I gave her a drop of cough syrup prescribed by her pediatrician when she was 3 months old..hope it is ok..today also she got 6 month vaccination done

A. high parent your kids 6 months old and is noticed to have cough, do not self prescribe the medication, it need to be started after examination of chest, dose of the medicine also changes with weight

A. yes dr..that's why I just gave a drop as I gave out of concern..hope it will not have any side effects
