My baby nose is sounding like whistle..what can I do?can I give him steam?if yes then please tell me the right way to give steam for 1 month baby.

For whistling it indicates the baby’s breathing is not normal and there is obstruction in airway, also lungs are congested. For that you need to see doctor urgently and keep checking baby’s fever, feeding time baby’s urine output and if baby is crying too much. It will be easier for your doctor to give right medication.

For steam you can carry baby in your lap , so that you will know if steam is getting too much, a little stram should be enough for one mo baby, keep baby away for two feet from steam. Also you can carry baby face front and put your face along baby so that u will know if thats too much for baby.
You can steam your bathroom for few minutes and then take baby to bathroom to start with .
