Q.

Hello Dr, My baby is 2 months 10 days old. When I try to make her sit by holding her neck, she is moving her head back and forth. Is it just because se still doesn’t have neck control or is there anything else to worry about?

A. partial neck holding count by three to four months of age and the complete neck holding will be there only after 6 months of age here than for more guidance you can discuss with your doctor and get cleared all the further queries and yovu will be given all the required guidance which you can follow accordingly ...

A. Yes You more certainly need to worry about your behaviour right now because you should not be making your child sit with support before the age of six months it’s not recommended you can only make your child sit or stand with support after your child completes the age of six months by this behaviour if you continue like this then you are going to damage the spine of your child so don’t do things before the correct time it is not the time for your child to sit
