Hello Dr, my baby is 1.9 yrs old. having white patches on her nails. I have attached pic for the same. please let me know why this is happing and suggest remedy/medicine and what could be done to avoid it. thanks again.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. kindly apply moisturizing lotion (atogla / cetaphil / physiogel / oilatum) or virgin coconut oil on the skin of the child 4 to 5 times per day and if the problem still continues for mxore than two weeks then meet your doctor.
do not apply any type of cream lotion or powder which is causing allergy on the skin.
