SandhyaMom of a 8 yr 8 m old girl4 years agoA. Hi, check the urine count. Baby should pass urine 6 to 8 times in a day. If the urine count is normal then baby is getting enough feed. You can also pump the milk and see. Usually a newborn baby will take around 40 ML of milk once in every two hours. Second month onwards it will take around 60 ML of milk once in every two hours like this gradually every month 30 a.m. it will be increased. Burp your baby well after every feed. Have a glass of water before feeding your baby and have a glass of water after feeding your baby. If your breast feed is less you can check for the top it with your paediatrician. You can also pump your milk once in a week and check the quantity.Write Your Answer Here
