hello dr. i have infection in my tooth. i have taken antibiotics. iam worried of my 3 month old baby as iam breastfeeding her. will it affect her?

ExpertDr. Garima VermaDentist3 years agoA. please do not take any medicine without your doctor's recommendation. it depends on which antibiotic you have taken. and just taking antibiotics is not the treatment for the toothache. you will have to take proper treatment

If You told your dentist that you are a best feeding mother then I’m sure they would have advised you to go for the best ones only and if you haven’t then I’m not sure as to what could possibly be the side effects of these medicines on a child so kindly consult your doctor once again then give you for the clarity on the issue if they were not informed of you being breastfeeding mother
