Hello doctor My son is suffering from fever with 102;103 grade iam using mephtal only.pls suggest any antibiotic.We went to hospital but no antibiotic were given .pls suggest

ExpertDr Bandana JoshiAyurvedic Physician1 Year agoA. Don’t give antibiotics atleast fir first 3 days as usually it could be viral abd in viral fever there is no need to give e any antibiotics to the child take care

Sai Prasanthi R LMom of a 11 yr 10 m old boy1 Year agoA. Hello dear parent! Antibiotic might not be required. Just complete the course of treatment as prescribed. Keep Babyhug medicine spoon handy. Try giving a light sponge bath to reduce the intensity of the fever symptoms
