Hello doctor, My son is 4 months old and from day I am giving him Vitanova D3 medicine but I got to know that Iron drops medicine should also be introduce at this time to baby. Is it true??

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. not in all babies, iron supplements required. avoid self n suggested medication. consult or ask your doctor about the same. continue with exclusive breast feeding till 6 month.

Its Not at all like that it is the doctors do suggest you to go for vitamin D supplement and multivitamin for at least six months to 1 year where in vitamin D is mandatory for one year iron supplement is only given if your child is having any deficiency otherwise it is not a mandatory one
