Q.

hello doctor.. my son is 23month old baby.. doctor prescribed 2antibiotics for my son's fever.. I was asked to give azee only when the fever is more.. so i gave him one day only.. but other antibiotic I am giving throughout.. even though I am continuing with the medicines my son is looking very pale and tired.. should I have stopped one of the antibiotic halfway like that.. I am scared

A. Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first line treatment also this dose cands be again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if fever is repeating. and you can also do cold sponging of the body if required
