Q.

Hello Doctor, my son is 22 months old. He has mild hydronephrosis (between 9-10 mm) in left kidney and (between 3-4 mm) in right kidney. His serum creatinine is 0.41 mg/dL. Is it worrisome? What can we do to cure it?

A. worrisome depends on the cause and severity . hope treatment going on with nephrolgist. it is important to follow the instructions and medicines course given by your doctor for the problem . they are safe if given by registered medical practitioner. do not undertake medicines or medical procedures not prescribed / guided by the doctor. take a follow up in few days if it is not improving for need of treatment modification

A. It would be good if you check with your doctor in person about the doubt that you have because they’ll be able to give you a clear clarity as per the situation whatever is there otherwise you can wait for a while as soon as a doctor would be available they will attend to your query
