Hello Doctor, my son is 2 yrs old and I have been feeding him milk and water using sipper bottles since he turned 1.5 years-old. I have been seeing articles and videos that using a sipper bottles causes speech defect or kids learns to speak late. Please suggest 🙏

A. yes, it can causes speech delay , dental carries..also.. use of open cup or mug or glass to feed milk and other liquids . all the very best.

A. No That is not true so don’t worry about that these things are completely safe to be use but now if you want to change the habit of the child I would advise you to go ahead with a straw you can put it into any cup or a glass whatever you want this is going to be a better choice to shift to then gradually you can shift your child to a proper a glass
