yes you should ideally start brushing your kid's teeth as soon as the first milk tooth erupts..
now start brushing your kid's teeth using small head soft bristles toothbrush along with rice grain size amount of kid's toothpaste

yes you must
you should use baby any friendly toothpaste like mamaearth, Colgate etc.
make sure it should be free from sls and low with flouride.
