Q.

hello doctor my son has an arm temperature of 97.9, is this fever and should I give him medicine or not one more thing that should we add any degree when we take temperature from arm to diagnosis fever

A. when you take the temperature in the armpit of the child and if it is hundred or more then only consider it is fever and give paracetamol to the child and when you take the temperature orally it is 99 degree Fahrenheit which is considered as fever
