Hello Doctor. My six year old son is facing constipation and gas problem. kindly advice me what needs to be done.

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 6 yr old girl4 years agoA. com in the age .Hard stool is very common in babies ; mainly due to less water and fiber intake as babies are moslty involve in play . So increase the quantity for same and lactulose can be used if severe constipation .

Give prune juice or just dried prune to chew upon...also chk if u r using formula milk or cerelac...they generally causes constipation....if u cant give her prune juice than soak some munnaqa without seeds in milk for 2 hrs..boil that milk and on cooling to room temperature give it to ur lo
