Hello doctor,my daughter was suffering from high fever(climbed upto 103°), for nearly 8 days, doctor conducted, CBC and urine test. there was mild urine infection. So the doctore started zifi 200 , and got a urine culture conducted .From that it was clarifieed that she doesn't have urine infection. then he got. Vidal test and blood culture doe. from Vidal it was found she doesn't have typhoid. Now she is fine, has no fever, but docotr has asked to take antibiotic for 14 days, she has completed 7 days.. does she need to take for 14 days?

Yes you should complete the course of medicine so follow your doctor advice and give more liquids to the baby and give more fruits and light and easily digestible foods to the child during recovery phase

Yes antibiotics kill bacteria , so it's important to finish all doses even after symptoms stop. Otherwise, the infection could come back.
