Hello Doctor, My daughter was born on April 10th 2023. I have given her 10 weeks vaccination on 23rd June, today she has 38.2 C temperature. I'm confused why she has got fever after 3 days. Her current weight is 5.1 kgs. Kindly advice. Thanks.

A. Fevers are one of the most common side effects of vaccination. Often, fevers are associated with illness, and, therefore, it is understandable that parents have concerns when their child develops a fever after vaccination. However, fevers are a normal part of immune responses.
