hello doctor, my daughter is 1 year 4 month old. her Hb is 5 which is very low. kindly suggest what to do please.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. this hemoglobin level is very less and the child is suffering from severe anemia so a proper investigation and work up is required for the cause and according to that only the treatment will be given

Do you go ahead with giving an iron supplement to the child along that also I would recommend you that you should go ahead with giving iron rich food and Apart from that you should definitely include good amount of spinach broccoli beetroot pomegranate a supposed to be the richest source of iron that you can go ahead with
