Hello Doctor my child is now 3yrs 8 months now, she got fever last time we gave her paracetamol , Its been 10 days now agn she got fever cold nd cough , pls suggest medicine for her

A. im not sending her school since 2 days, whole day she is playing I'm gvng her paracetamol syrup for fever, kep-ls cough syrup as doctor suggested but night 3 pm she is getting temperature. nd she is hvng cough at night times continues she is getting cough for Dat I gave her ambrodoxil.

A. the first medicine will always be paracetamol and it is given according to weight and power of paracetamol medicine you are having. give liquids and easily digestible food and paracetamol should be given only after food. keep the child in cool environment and avoid using woolen clothes when the child is having fever armpit temperature of hundred or more is considered as feverd to body sponge to decrease the surface temperature and should be carried out for at least 20 minutes with normal temperature water. higher medicines (ibugesic / meftal-p) whether required or not will be told by the doctor. d
