Hello Doctor,my child is 16 month old from yesterday night she is having fever,I gave her medicine by consulting nearby doctor today but before few minutes she was severing for few seconds is this normal or a matter of concern

Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first line treatment also this dose can be again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if fever is repeuyating.
and you can also do cold sponging of the body if required
