Hello Doctor.. My baby is having itchiness in ear he is 6 months old can u pls suggest any ear drops…? Thank u

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. rubbing of ear as well as itching of the ears is totally normal.
if the child is not crying do not worry about it and to decrease the itching sensation you can apply coconut oil over it.
do not use earbuds to to clean the internal ear cavity.
external ear can be cleaned with the help of clean cotton cloth.
treatment is given only if the child is crying with pain while itching.
for pain you can give paracetamol

Please don't self diagnose and self treat
please consult your pediatrician and get it treated
because the itching in ears could be because of other rraosn like Mal nutrition as eell
