Hello Doctor, my baby is 8.5 months old and not gaining proper weight, he is very thin. He is 7 kg. And still not able to sit without support for long. please suggest something for diet and for his sitting?

SandhyaMom of a 8 yr 8 m old girl4 years agoA. Hi, the baby will get double the birth weight by six months and triple the birth weight by one year. So you can calculate the weight accordingly.the weight is good. You can give 5 semisolid feed in a day with a gap of four hours between each solid feed and two hours of gap To breastfeed. Always feed in sitting position. Give Luke warm water while feeding solid food. Sitting will happen until 11 months, so nothing to worry about it.Write Your Answer Here
