Q. Hello doctor, my baby is 6month old N i want to ask about Vaccine in 6th month their is a vaccine (OPV ,Hep-B) , it is compulsory for baby. Our doctor said it is not necessary but Some persons told me it is compulsory, pls suggest me vaccine is necessary r not

A. if given at 6 10 14 weeks it's not necessary after vaccination child may become irritable. give painkiller as prescribed by paediatrician. apply ice on the injection site intermittently. feed on demand. carry, soothe your child the side effects associated with the  vaccine are generally mild. The most common are pain, redness, or swelling at the injection site.   swelling will reduce on its own. you may apply ice on it for first 2 days to relieve pain.

A. Yes it is important to get all the vaccination done for the baby so as to make sure that the baby is getting all the important vaccination and immunity against that particular kind of virusWrite Your Answer Here
