Hello Doctor My baby is 6 months old and he has fever from last three days. Temperature is below almost 98,99,100 not above 100 We are giving him dolo drops Please advise

A. Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first line treatment also this dose can be again repeated agfter every 5 to 6 hours if again required and you can also do cold sponging of the body to reduce fever
