hello doctor..my baby is 3 months old he has white patches under the mouth...what is the reason for that?? is this causes any problem for baby?

ExpertDr. Garima VermaDentist4 years agoA. If you mean your child has white patches inside the mouth then it is better to consult a pediatrician as that can be an infection and might need treatment. Maintain good oral hygiene and clean the babies mouth after every feed.

After feeding ensure that your baby’s mouth and surrounding skin is well cleaned with a soft cotton cloth. If the patches are persistent and severe then consult your child’s doctor for a personal evaluation and seek further advice. Continue breastfeeding
