Hello Doctor.. My baby girl is 2.6 yrs old.. For the past few days she us coughing and rubbing her nose very frequently as she is having slight running nose.. Can we give Relent + syrup, if yes please advise on the recommended Dose as well..

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough is a response of the body defence mechanism where the respiratory tract tries to expel the external factors by producing excess of mucous and cough reflex.
Most of the times it's infective in origin . Viral infection arfe most common.
A proper examination is required before giving any medication.
Antitussivfe / bronchodilator/ expectorant medicine are given as per need.
