hello doctor my baby gets fever and light cold If I gave paracetamol syrup (doctor suggestion) up to 4hours not coming fever after that coming fever. In this situation can I give iron, calcium, multivitamin syrups suggested by doctors?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold most of the time is a viral illness where there could be running nose sneezing along with cough and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration . steam inhalation will also be useful in this .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectoreant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be used once a proper evaluation by tfhe doctor is done and according to the type of cough its prescribed.
if any fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the temperature and the dose can be repeated again after 6 hours if required .
