Q.

Hello Doctor.. my baby boy is 6 months 28 days old and it's been 1 month, he is having constipation. he gives so much pressure in doing poop. he is on formula milk completely since birth and now he is having semi solid food. we gave him syrup lactoluse 2 ml every night for 6 to 7 days than he started pooping normal. Now again he is struggling with constipation. Please suggest what should I do so that he poops normal?? What food I can give to him?

A. Thank you Doctor for replying. Can you please suggest the dosage of bonnisan drops as the local pediatric said this is not beneficial??

A. Constipation in Babies less than 6 months is very common and more in formula fed babies. you can givre bonnisan drops and shome enzyme preparations in proper dose suggested by doctor and cow's milk should be avoided before 1 year of age
