hello doctor.. my baby 9 month old .. aj rat o sofa cum bed se niche farsh pr gir gaya .. kase gira .. front or back side no idea .. what to do ?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Any Fall injury specially head injury needs to be assessed properly . In any such case certain symptoms needs to be checked like loss of consciousness reccurrent vomiting or any abnormal moment or convulsions . Such case needs immediate medical intervention as there could be some internal injury . Otherwise application of ice locally to reduce the swelling and pain can be done along with some analgesic like paracetamol.
Recurrent fall injury for a child should be avoided as it fcan lead to some chronic manifestations occasgfionally .
Also teeth injury should be rule out in any such case which is commonly associated and can bce easily missed out most of the time .
