Q.

hello doctor! my baby (2 years old) having cold and cough ( no fever). Doctor gaving crtrizin hydrochloride syrup along with nibulizer ( Asthalin and butacord) and antibiotics. But my child condtion is not that critical and after taking citrizen and nibulizer he is better now so is it necessary to take the antibiotics? l

A. no it is not necessary to take antibiotics for cough and cold you cannot give antibiotics without medical consultation. also if it's viral infection or an allergy then there is no role of antibiotics. all infection and illness doe not require antibiotics. also dosage is given as per infection and type of disease. meet your dr for proper advice.

A. If your doctor Ge has given you a certain course of antibiotics and yes it is mandatory that you do complete the course which has been suggested by the doctor and otherwise if your child is completely good then there is no need of course of antibiotics if it has not been suggested you have to complete the suggested Goes by the doctor
